Letter I sent to person that told me about this website:
Definitely interested that you sent me the website about a Nobel for Cubans. (Noting Cuban nurses are presumed to be dogs that only deserve a few dry bones to gnaw. If not, why are they not mentioned? Doctors only get the glory and the cash, while the people that do major work are left out. This is in total contradiction of the achievement of the Cuban people.)
Hoping the website goes into more than Hollywood celebrities and boutique politics. Hoping the website has substantial communication.
Hoping the website discusses the historical issues that were and remain in play, today:
1) Cubans were able to dump American-Mafia oriented business – gambling, heavy street drugs, prostiution
2) For all of their wrong headedness, the Soviets offered nursing and medical education that was not oriented to being obedient in order to make individual wealth and status
but education that could be applied with humility for the well-being of an entire culture.
3) Having an abundance of trained, healthcare professionals, they shared them with the rest of the world.
4) America refused Cuban healthcare assistance when Katrina struck New Orleans. However, other countries could work with the Cubans meaningfully
